Wedding Ring (Season 1)

Wedding Ring (2008) is a Russian drama series with a soap-opera structure and a crime undercurrent — stream it online on iFILM. Three strangers share a train compartment from the small town of Luza to Moscow, and what begins as coincidence turns into a web of debt, family secrets, and betrayal.

Nastya is heading to the capital to free her jailed mother; the only lead she has is a wedding ring tied to a powerful academic named Kovalev. Her compartment-mate Olya has spotted that ring and has no intention of leaving it alone. The third passenger, Igor, carries a score to settle with that same man. Directors Dmitry Goldman and Sergey Pishchikov keep the story moving across multiple character threads, with Alina Sandratskaya and Yulia Pozhidaeva heading the cast.
