Synopsis
Survivors (2021), Season 2 is a Russian post-apocalyptic drama you can watch online on iFILM — nine episodes set after a sleeping plague gutted the world, where falling asleep means dying unless someone wakes you in time.
Sasha, Liza and Lavrova scrape by in a village out on the steppe until word reaches them of a town that has learned to rouse the sleepers. Liza sets out for it, chasing her mother and the promise of something close to a normal life. The road has other plans. A raiding gang called the Locusts hits the village and drags Sasha and Lavrova off into slavery, while the town itself turns out to be far less of a refuge than it looked from a distance. Filtration camps, steppe bandits, a miracle nobody seems glad about. The deeper anyone digs, the uglier the truth behind the town's order becomes.
