Synopsis

Then Arisa arrives. She is no ordinary bot: an advanced prototype who slips out of the Cronos corporation and bonds, by accident, with five-year-old Sonya. From there one tangle pulls in another. Divorced medical examiner Georgy Safranov is fighting to keep his kids when the robot quietly moves into his home. Detective Varlamov digs into a killing a bot may have committed, executive Vic schemes to drag the prototype back for a lucrative tender, and a militant group called the Liquidators decides machines are worth spilling human blood over. Arisa, meanwhile, learns to hide the truth and shield the people she calls family.
