Synopsis
Clark (2022), Season 1 — six episodes you can watch online on iFILM, Netflix's Swedish crime drama with Bill Skarsgård as bank robber Clark Olofsson.
It opens fast, in and out of juvenile lockups, with a first jailbreak that lands Clark face to face with the love of his life and her mother. From there he stirs up a prisoners' rights movement that spreads across Sweden, runs oranges out of Beirut alongside cargo that isn't fruit, and by the fourth episode walks into the Norrmalmstorg robbery — the live-televised hostage standoff that handed the world the phrase "Stockholm syndrome." The show is narrated by Clark himself, and that narrator is exactly as reliable as he wants to be.
Director Jonas Åkerlund stages the biography as a carnival: kinetic cuts, pitch-black comedy, a seventies timeline that refuses to sit still. Skarsgård carries a charming wreck of a man you can't admire and can't look away from. Watch Clark Season 1 online on iFILM.
