Synopsis
American Classic (2026) is a US comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, with Kevin Kline playing Richard Bean — a fallen Broadway name forced back to his tiny hometown.
Richard once found his calling in the family's local theater. Then he made it big, and then he spectacularly didn't. Returning is the last thing he wants, but there's nowhere else to go. Laura Linney, Jane Alexander, Jessica Hecht, and Aaron Tveit populate a town that remembers exactly who Richard was before the ego took over. Old loves don't stay buried. Neither do the stories.
