Synopsis

What warms it is Erik, a local kid. The two bond fast, then a discovery at the river hands them a secret they will carry for years. The season follows their childhood through uneasy visions, a first day at a school that doesn't make room for the different, and the steady refuge of the Muxes — the Zapotec third-gender community who treat being unlike others as ordinary, not shameful. Midway the story leaps ahead in time: a mysterious woman, Sicarú, returns and the past everyone buried starts knocking again.
