Keep Going

Continuer (Keep Going, 2018) is a French-Belgian drama directed by Joachim Lafosse, available to watch online on iFILM. Virginie Efira plays Sybille, a divorced mother who has run out of ways to reach her teenage son Samuel — played by Kacey Mottet Klein — as he drifts deeper into aimlessness and violence.

Her last idea is a drastic one: take him to Kyrgyzstan, on horseback, across open mountain terrain, with no fixed destination. The film is almost entirely built from the friction between the two of them, and the Central Asian landscape serves as the only witness — vast and indifferent to whether they work things out.
