Synopsis
High Life (2009) — watch online at iFILM — a Canadian crime comedy directed by Gary Yates, with Timothy Olyphant leading a cast of deeply unlucky small-time criminals. It's 1983. Dick and his crew — junkie friends Donnie and Bug — are back on the street after their latest stint inside, already looking for the next angle.
The angle this time: ATMs are new, and nobody seems to be guarding what's inside them. Dick recruits a fourth man named Billy at a drug rehab session, and the plan is set. It's almost a good one — until a bank teller becomes an unforeseen variable and the whole operation unravels with the slow-motion incompetence that makes it genuinely funny. Olyphant plays it completely straight, which is exactly why it works.
