Synopsis
Video Game High School (2012) is an action-comedy web series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Freddie Wong and the RocketJump YouTube crew made the whole thing on crowdfunded money — no network, no studio, just a camera and a loyal fanbase.
The premise: in the not-too-distant future, pro gaming has overtaken every other sport on the planet. FPS stars fill arenas and sign sponsorship deals worth millions. An average teen accidentally humiliates the most famous player in the world during a live match and, as a result, lands a spot at VGHS — the elite boarding school for the best gamers alive. Getting in was the easy part.
