Synopsis

The hook here is the rivalry between the two pickers themselves. They take a grudge match to the drag strip to settle who owns the faster ride, then keep digging: a mountain of motorcycles rigged with booby traps, a barn of oddball micro-cars in Illinois, an Indiana hoard big enough to launch a one-man museum. A buried prewar Ford has to be excavated after decades out of daylight. Up in Maine the guys uncover a homestead holding six generations of secrets and Timtown, a one-man village of forty-two packed buildings.
