Wajib (2017) is a Palestinian family drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Annemarie Jacir wrote the roles for an actual father and son: Mohammad Bakri and Saleh Bakri play exactly that relationship on screen.

Shadi has spent years abroad in Italy. He comes back not for a reunion but to fulfill his "wajib" — an Arabic word meaning duty or obligation — delivering wedding invitations to his sister's guests by hand. He and his father drive through Nazareth together all day, stuck in traffic, knocking on doors. Each stop chips away at the comfortable distance that years apart had built between them.
