About
Synopsis
Directed by Barak Goodman, Oklahoma City (2017) is available to watch online on iFILM. On April 19, 1995, a truck bomb gutted the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building — 168 dead, hundreds more wounded. Until September 2001, no attack on American soil came close in scale.
Goodman doesn't open with the blast. He goes back years before it: armed standoffs between federal agents and citizens at Ruby Ridge and Waco, the militia networks that gave anti-government fury a structure, and the chain of choices that made a federal building the target. Less a crime story than a dissection of domestic extremism. Part of the PBS American Experience series. Stream Oklahoma City online on iFILM.
