Synopsis

Barney & Friends (1992), Season 7 watch online on iFILM — twenty episodes of the purple dinosaur's children's show, full of songs, dancing and play.

The 2002 run widens its range. A new friend, Kami, joins the gang and sometimes struggles to keep up with the others, and the season quietly makes the point that there's more than one way to join in the fun. From there it leans into colors and shapes: the kids hunt for red, yellow and blue, then turn a chalk hopscotch board into a lesson on triangles they start spotting everywhere, from rooftops to paper hats. Playground safety, counting, tea-party manners and a warm look at family round out the set.

Season 7 sits a notch older than the last one, with more "how things work" — a house room by room, traffic lights, numbers. Handy for anyone minding two-to-five-year-olds who wants short, clear lessons. Stream Barney & Friends Season 7 online on iFILM.

    All Aboard!

    September 2, 2002 · 30 min

Barney's friends are racing to clean up the park, but Kami has trouble keeping up with the other kids - even when they pretend to be ants marching in a parade! Barney and Scott visit the Idea Bench where Scott comes up with a great idea - to show Kami that even though the caboose is the last car in the train, it's the most important because that's where the conductor rides. With Kami playing "Conductor for the Day," they learn all about trains and have fun checking out a model train. Then, they work together to clean up the old caboose in the park as they sing "I've Been Working On the Railroad." When Barney tells them how railroad signal flags are used, the children make their own flags and wave them around the park. Barney's friends learn that from the first to the last in line, everyone is special.
