Synopsis
The Sniffer (Нюхач, 2013), Season 2 — watch online on iFILM: 8 episodes from 2015 that open mid-emergency, the hero already bleeding on a gurney, surgeons around him, timeline jumping back three days to explain how he got there.
Season two has a backbone the first didn't: a shadow military unit known as the "ghost" men threads through nearly every case. Two beheaded bodies on a vacant lot. A brooding sniper with a "1354" tattoo. An intelligence operation between two spy agencies that turns personal. A killer who dresses homeless victims in makeup. The cases are varied; the organization behind them isn't. Halfway through, a new female character joins the team — who she is and what she wants is its own slow reveal. By the finale Viktor is the one preparing the arrest, and the ghosts are making the Sniffer a very different kind of offer.
