Synopsis
Thugs of Hindostan (2018) is the Bollywood blockbuster you can watch online on iFILM — a big swashbuckling adventure of sea battles, songs and sword fights. Director Vijay Krishna Acharya put two of Indian cinema's biggest stars on the same deck.
The year is 1795. The East India Company is swallowing the subcontinent, and a fleet of rebels rises against the colonizers under the fearsome Azaad, played by Amitabh Bachchan. The British officer bets on cunning instead of force: he hires Firangi, a fast-talking small-time crook played by Aamir Khan, to win the rebels' trust and hand over their leader. Trouble is, Firangi is loyal only to his own purse, and you can't guess whose side he'll land on. Fatima Sana Shaikh fights as the warrior Zafira, with Katrina Kaif leading the dance numbers.
