Synopsis
Watch Mini's First Time (2006) online on iFILM — a pitch-black crime comedy starring Nikki Reed and Alec Baldwin. Bored, sharp and out for trouble, eighteen-year-old Mini signs on with an escort service. Her very first client turns out to be her own stepfather.
From there it slides downhill, grinning the whole way. Mini seduces stepdad Martin and talks him into a cold-blooded scheme: have her drunk, loveless mother Diane declared insane and seize the money. The plan curdles into murder. When young detective John Garson starts digging, the two lovers start feeding each other to the wolves. Carrie-Anne Moss, Jeff Goldblum and Luke Wilson round out the rot.
Director Nick Guthe shoots it as cynical noir satire — about money, boredom and people who feel sorry for no one, themselves included. The humor is glacial, the morality nonexistent, and that's the joke. Built for fans of acid-tongued crime in the David Lynch and Coen brothers vein, where there's nobody to root for.
