Serial Mom (1994) is John Waters' pitch-black comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Beverly Sutphin (Kathleen Turner) keeps the perfect household in suburban Baltimore — hot meals, tended garden, cheerful wave to the neighbors. She also murders people. Mostly for minor infractions.

Wearing white shoes after Labor Day. Not rewinding a video tape. Recycling improperly. Beverly's code of etiquette is ironclad, and violators pay in fireplace pokers and phone cords. Husband Eugene (Sam Waterston) has no idea. Kids Misty (Ricki Lake) and Chip (Matthew Lillard) are starting to connect the dots — but mom is so warm, so capable, so relentlessly pleasant. Surely not.

Written and directed by Waters, the film is a cold-eyed poke at suburban propriety and at the American appetite for celebrity criminals: once Beverly's story breaks in the press, she becomes a star.
