Synopsis
What Men Talk About: Simple Pleasures (О чём говорят мужчины. Простые удовольствия, 2023) is a Russian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Another Saturday morning, another bottle of champagne, and four old friends drift back into the kind of rambling talk that only happens between men who have known each other forever.
Lyosha wants to know if female friendship is a real thing. Kamil weighs whether you can actually fire your best friend. Slava, the perpetual ladies' man, replays his first love — or whatever it was. And Sasha, still raw from losing his father, tries to learn how to enjoy the day he's in. Walking through central Moscow, the four argue over candid social-media photos, the mystery of chevapchichi, and how to change a light bulb so everyone ends up happy. Rostislav Khait, Leonid Barats, Kamil Larin and Aleksandr Demidov play versions of themselves: older, no wiser.
Directed by Misha Polyakov, this is the third feature in the franchise born from the Kvartet I stage act, and it keeps the formula — almost no plot, just sharply overheard conversation. It lands best with fans of the earlier films who already speak this humor: dry, talky, broken into small everyday stories across a breezy 89 minutes.
