Synopsis
"The Shadow Riders" (1982) — watch online on iFILM — brings Tom Selleck and Sam Elliott back together three years after "The Sacketts." Director Andrew V. McLaglen adapted Louis L'Amour's novel into a TV western about brothers who fought the Civil War on opposite sides and are finally heading home.
They get there and find the place empty. Confederate irregulars who haven't accepted defeat have taken the whole family hostage. Mac and Dal Traven ride out again. Katharine Ross, Ben Johnson and Jeffrey Lewis round out a cast that knows the genre cold.
