Season 1
Synopsis
The Letter for the King (2020), Season 1 is Netflix's family fantasy adventure you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes that turn a mocked teenage squire into the boy a whole kingdom depends on.
Tiuri is fifteen, pushed by his father and laughed at by the other novices on the eve of his knighthood trial. Then a dying messenger hands him a sealed letter, and he walks away from the ceremony to carry it west to King Unauwen. The Red Riders hunt him across the kingdom, the mayor's sharp daughter Lavinia joins the road, and a snowbound monastery and a passenger on a ship both seem to know more about his past than he does. By the time the Blood Moon rises, doubt and betrayal close in on the group.
Adapted from Tonke Dragt's novel, the season cares more about a nervous kid finding his nerve than about big battles. If you like slow-burn fantasy with characters you actually follow, this one rewards patience. Stream The Letter for the King Season 1 online on iFILM.
