Synopsis
Watch Mr. Nice Guy (1997) online on iFILM — a Hong Kong–Australian action comedy directed by Sammo Hung, starring Jackie Chan as a Melbourne-based TV chef who stumbles into the wrong gang war at the wrong moment.
Jackie accidentally ends up with a news reporter's tape that shows a drug deal gone ugly. Both criminal factions want it back, and neither bothers with polite requests. The chase runs through a market, a construction site, a Victorian mansion, and at least one very large piece of earth-moving equipment. What carries the film is the same thing that always carries Jackie Chan movies: the inventiveness of the fights, the physical commitment of a star who did his own stunts, and the comic timing built into every punch.
