Synopsis

One by one, residents of the island turn into grass-sprouting zombies, and the authorities seal the whole enclave under quarantine. Survival falls to two unlikely allies: a resourceful teenager named André and the infant sister he hauls through the chaos in his arms. Along the way they pick up a gruff security guard, played by Roy Dupuis — the only adult left who is any use.
Knafo uses the outbreak to skewer a wealthy, walled-off world obsessed with tidy lawns and its own superiority. There's plenty of gore, but the humor bites harder than the undead.
