Feast

Feast (2014) is a Walt Disney animated short you can watch online on iFILM. It runs barely six minutes, and every second is seen from the floor — through the eyes of a Boston terrier named Winston, adopted by a young bachelor who feeds him scraps off his plate.

At first the dog lives well: burgers, fries, late-night pizza, all the junk a single guy eats. Then a woman moves in, and suddenly the bowl fills with greens and broccoli. Winston is not impressed. His owner's whole romance — the meet-cute, the fight, the breakup, the way back — plays out entirely through food, with no spoken dialogue at all.

Director Patrick Osborne blended hand-drawn and computer animation for the look, and the short took home the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film.
