Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (2017) is a Kyoto Animation comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A burned-out office worker named Kobayashi drunkenly invites a wounded dragon to crash at her place. The next morning, that dragon shows up at her door as Tohru, a girl in a maid outfit ready to move in.

Tohru adores the human who saved her life and insists on handling the chores. Trouble is, she has no idea how human housekeeping works, so cooking and cleaning keep ending in tiny disasters involving her tail and the occasional burst of fire. Soon other dragons drift into the human world too: the small, deadpan Kanna enrolls in school, the laid-back Lucoa lounges around, and the prickly Elma takes a job at Kobayashi's own company. What grows out of it is a found-family story stitched together from very mismatched creatures.

Directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto, the series leans on KyoAnima's signature craft, with soft lighting, springy facial acting and comic timing that lands.
