The Great Heist (Season 1)

The Great Heist (El robo del siglo, 2020) is a Colombian crime series you can watch online on iFILM. One night a small crew walks out of the country's central bank with tens of millions of dollars and never fires a shot — and Netflix turns that into six tight episodes.

It's built on something that genuinely happened in Barranquilla: fourteen people tunneled into the vault of the Banco de la República and made off with 24 billion pesos. But the show cares less about the score than about the people pulling it — Chayo, who assembles the team, the engineer, the safecrackers, the driver, each with a reason and a price. Andrés Parra plays the ringleader as a charmer you can't quite stay mad at, even knowing how it has to end. And it ends hard: the police tear the country apart, and the early thrill curdles into paranoia.

The scripts lean on journalist Alfredo Serrano Zabala's book about the case. The six episodes play like one long heist movie — quick, lean, in the Money Heist lane but grounded in 1990s Colombia.
