Synopsis
Temple (2019) is a British thriller starring Mark Strong that you can watch online on iFILM. Surgeon Daniel Milton sets up a hidden clinic in the disused tunnels beneath Temple Underground station.
His patients are people who can't walk into a normal hospital — shot robbers, fugitives, anyone hiding from the law. The cash funds an experimental treatment for his wife Beth, who is fading from a degenerative illness that mainstream medicine has given up on. A withdrawn loner named Lee (Daniel Mays) knows the underworld and helps him dig in, while Carice van Houten plays a colleague he has to keep in the dark.
It's an English remake of the Norwegian series Valkyrien, made for Sky One. The tension comes less from gunfire than from watching a decent man cross one line, then another, then one he can't undo. Stream Temple online on iFILM.
