Synopsis

It opens on a name: Philip Kukushkin, a Russian who knows far too much about how post-humans are made. Togusa wakes to the fact that he has been wandering inside his own memories. Batou pulls the rest of the crew toward the capital, where the teenage post-human Takashi Shimamura is already moving his pieces. A hijacked nuclear sub raises the stakes, and Washington's answer to the standoff is as cold as it is sweeping.
