Synopsis
R.A.I.D. Special Unit (RAID Dingue, 2017) is a French action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Johanna has dreamed her whole life of joining RAID, France's elite police tactical squad. The catch: she is hopelessly clumsy and breaks nearly everything she touches.
Her family thinks it is a terrible idea, her in-laws-to-be are horrified, and a hardened RAID veteran is convinced a woman has no business on his team, least of all one this accident-prone. Johanna signs up for selection anyway and turns brutal training drills into one disaster after another. Alice Pol stars opposite Dany Boon, who also directs.
Boon, the man behind the record-shattering Welcome to the Sticks, again bets on broad physical clowning and gentle digs at French stereotypes.
