Season 3
Synopsis
The Story of God with Morgan Freeman (2016), Season 3 is a six-part documentary you can watch online on iFILM, with Freeman back on the road asking faith its hardest questions.
This run leans into the uncomfortable corners. It opens hunting for the devil — who he is across religions, and why almost every culture needed a face for evil. From there Freeman looks for evidence of a higher power, sits with a woman convinced sacred waters cured her paralysis, and follows an Anishinaabe man through days of solitude in search of a vision. Later hours weigh sin, secrecy and holy law, right down to how the eruption of Vesuvius was read as punishment from above.
What carries the season is the host himself: no sermon, just curiosity and a lot of miles. If the first two seasons asked how we worship, this one asks what we fear. Stream The Story of God Season 3 online on iFILM.
