Synopsis
Piranha Hunt (2006) is a Russian action thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Andrei Kavun. Kirill Mazur (Vladimir Mashkov), an operative from the elite Piranha unit, heads north with his partner Olga on what's supposed to look like a vacation. The actual mission: locate and destroy a classified underwater weapons cache.
The mission falls apart. The cache has already been seized by a criminal crew led by Prokhor (Mikhail Efremov), a gangster who has turned the remote taiga into his private hunting ground — with humans as the prey. Mazur trades his service weapon for a handmade bone knife and works to get both of them out alive. Yevgeny Mironov and Sergei Garmash round out an unusually strong cast for an action film.
