Synopsis
Fir Crazy (2013), a Canadian TV holiday movie, is streaming online on iFILM. Directed by Craig Pryce, it follows Elise MacKenzie (Sarah Lancaster), a marketing executive whose deep dislike of Christmas traces straight back to childhood: her father ran a Christmas tree lot, and the season meant cold fingers, pine needles everywhere and customers who were always cheerful in ways she couldn't match. She grew up, moved away, and considered the matter closed.
Then her father breaks his leg in mid-December, and Elise is back behind the counter. The store owner who hosts the lot (Eric Johnson) wants to shut the whole operation down — which turns out to be only the first complication. Colin Mochrie rounds out the cast in a supporting role. Fir Crazy delivers what the genre promises: light seasonal conflict, a romance that moves predictably toward warmth, and enough holiday atmosphere to make it work on a quiet evening.
