Synopsis
Carol & the End of the World (2023), Season 1 is Netflix's adult animated tragicomedy you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes set seven months before a rogue planet ends everything. While the world throws itself into one long farewell party, quiet Carol simply doesn't know what to do with herself.
The season walks her through an odd little route. She checks in on her parents, then drifts into a nameless office called The Distraction — the one place that pretends doomsday isn't coming — and somehow finds peace there. Banana bread thaws things between her and coworkers Luis and Donna, an overnight hike reframes her wild sister Elena, and a hunt for a lost brooch pulls them into the lost and found. As the clock runs down, unease creeps through the office: someone is starting to feel too much.
