George Clooney and Kiefer Sutherland shared a single episode. Jennifer Aniston came separately. Lady GaGa appeared with one of her earliest American television performances, before the name was everywhere. Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine arrived in the immediate wake of the Star Trek reboot. Portia de Rossi stopped by as Ellen's partner — a low-key moment that wasn't actually low-key at all in 2008.
