Synopsis
Cops (1989), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM: sixteen unscripted episodes shot inside the patrol cars of real American officers, no actors and no director.
Most of the season rides along with sheriff's deputies in Broward County, Florida. They kick in the doors of crack houses, step between feuding families, go undercover in vice stings, and brace the county for Super Bowl weekend. There's no narrator smoothing it over — you watch it from over a deputy's shoulder. Then the last two episodes take the crew somewhere nobody expected in 1989: the Soviet Union, with a stop at a militia training academy, arrests at a May Day parade, and a motorcycle gang broken up on the street.
This is the pilot run that launched the whole franchise and the fly-on-the-wall crime format that followed it. Stream Cops Season 1 online on iFILM.
