Synopsis
Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest (1990) is a feature-length entry in the Dragon Ball Z universe you can watch online on iFILM. Using the dragon balls, the scheming Dr. Kochin thaws a lab buried in ice for fifty years and revives his old mentor, the deranged Dr. Wheelo.
The catch: Wheelo is now nothing but a brain, and he wants the strongest body on Earth as his new vessel. Convinced that title belongs to Master Roshi, the villains kidnap Bulma and blackmail the old man into surrendering. When Goku hears of the abduction, he races to the rescue, only to run headlong into three towering bio-warriors and Wheelo himself. From there it delivers exactly what fans show up for: surging auras, a Kamehameha or two, and a fight pushed to the brink.
This hour-long film, directed by Daisuke Nishio of the main DBZ series, stands apart from the central storyline, so you can dive in without tracking the whole saga.
