Season 1
Live more. Laugh more. Eat more. Talk more. Gilmore.
Synopsis
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016), Season 1 is the four-part revival you can watch online on iFILM — one feature-length chapter per season, "Winter," "Spring," "Summer," and "Fall." It lands almost a decade after the original finale.
Stars Hollow looks the same; the Gilmores don't. Richard's death hangs over everything. Emily is unmoored, trying to figure out who she is without her husband, while Lorelai runs the inn, drifts in her future, and quietly wonders where things stand with Luke. Rory comes home off a career high and stalls fast — a secret London affair drags on, the book proposal won't come together, and the ground feels shakier than she'll admit. Mother and daughter even land in therapy together, arguing and circling toward something like clarity.
Amy Sherman-Palladino returned to deliver the famous final four words fans had waited nine years to hear. This is less about plot than about register: rapid-fire dialogue, a warm small town, three women at a crossroads. Stream Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Season 1 online on iFILM.
