Synopsis
Welcome to Chippendales (2022) is a true-crime drama with a comic streak that you can watch online on iFILM. Kumail Nanjiani stars as Somen "Steve" Banerjee, an Indian immigrant stuck behind a gas-station counter who gambles everything on a then-scandalous idea: a male strip club built entirely for a female audience.
It works beyond anyone's expectations. The cuffs-and-bowtie look becomes a signature, lines wrap around the block, and the cash pours in. The trouble starts at the top. As the brand explodes, Banerjee can't stand sharing the spotlight, least of all with choreographer Nick De Noia, the man who turned the act into a real show. Their partnership curdles, and Steve starts looking for a way to remove his rival for good. Murray Bartlett, Annaleigh Ashford, Juliette Lewis and Dan Stevens fill out the cast.
