Aoashi (2022) is a soccer anime you can watch online on iFILM. Ashito Aoi is a hot-headed striker from a sleepy seaside town who thinks about nothing but scoring — until one outburst on the pitch costs his team an entire tournament.

Just as his dream of a serious soccer school seems dead, a coach visiting from Tokyo notices something in him and invites him to try out for a pro club's youth academy. There Ashito runs into a hard truth: he can finish, but he still can't read the whole field. From there the series breaks down positioning, tactics and spatial awareness almost like a classroom, watching a street goal-scorer retrain his brain to think like a complete player.

Adapted from Yuugo Kobayashi's manga by studio Production I.G, it's one of those uncommon sports shows where the tactical analysis grips as hard as the goals do.
