Slam Dunk (スラムダンク, 1993) is a Japanese sports comedy anime you can watch online on iFILM. Hanamichi Sakuragi has the worst luck with girls — rejected fifty times before high school. Then he meets Haruko Akagi and, on the spot, agrees to join the basketball team just to stay close to her.

There's one catch: he has never actually played. Shohoku High is gunning for the national championship under her brother, captain Akagi. Sakuragi has to go from total beginner to something useful — fast — while rival prodigy Rukawa keeps outshining him both on court and in Haruko's eyes.
