Synopsis
Fam (2019) is a sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. On paper Clem has it all figured out: a fiancé, an apartment, a fresh start. The catch is one lie — she told his family her father died ten years ago. Her father, awkwardly, is very much alive.
Then her teenage half-sister Shannon turns up on the doorstep, having bailed on that same deadbeat dad. Shannon wants to move in, and the truth Clem worked so hard to bury moves in right alongside her. Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries) plays Clem, leaning on comic timing rather than melodrama, with Tone Bell, Odessa Adlon, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Gary Cole rounding out the household.
This is a classic studio comedy about the relatives you don't get to pick, built in the multi-camera, laugh-track mold CBS does best.
