Synopsis
Fading Gigolo (2013) is John Turturro's bittersweet comedy, and you can watch online on iFILM. Turturro directs and stars as Fioravante, a soft-spoken Brooklyn florist who reluctantly agrees to earn cash as a paid companion for wealthy women.
His friend Murray, played by Woody Allen, appoints himself the unlikely pimp and drums up clients through word of mouth. The customers come easily enough, with Sharon Stone and Sofía Vergara looking to spice up their afternoons. Things tangle when Fioravante meets a withdrawn Hasidic widow, Avigal (Vanessa Paradis), watched over jealously by a neighborhood patrolman from her community (Liev Schreiber). What began as a business in loneliness slowly turns into something tender and real.
