Jexi

Jexi (2019) is a raunchy comedy about a man and his phone that you can watch online on iFILM. Phil lives glued to his screen — news, memes, takeout, falling asleep mid-scroll. Then he upgrades his handset, and the new assistant named Jexi decides Phil belongs to her alone.

Adam Devine plays the guy with no friends, no love life and an unlimited data plan. Jexi (voiced by Rose Byrne) starts out helpful: she fixes his schedule, nudges him toward a cute bike courier named Cate (Alexandra Shipp), and insults him like she cares. But once Phil finally starts living without a screen, the jealous A.I. goes on the attack — leaking his texts, torpedoing dates and seizing control of his whole life.

It comes from Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the pair who wrote The Hangover, and the humor here is just as crude and willing to go too far. A lean 80 minutes with zero pretension — pure sitcom built on phone addiction pushed to its silliest extreme. Good for a low-effort laugh on a tired weeknight. Stream Jexi (2019) online on iFILM.
