Synopsis

The office has a new problem. Himuro arrives as company president: calm, reasonable, and quietly dangerous. He sidelines Director Ton, who refuses to carry out his cost-cutting orders, and turns his attention to Haida — praising him, giving him his own office, pulling him deeper into arrangements Retsuko can't see from the outside. When she does find out what Haida's been doing, she has to decide how far she's willing to go to stop it, and who she can trust to help.

Retsuko and Fenneko blab to Himuro about Ton's past work harassment during a night of drinking. Retsuko tells Haida she only wants to be friends.
