Synopsis
The Christophers (2026) is a crime comedy directed by Steven Soderbergh — watch online on iFILM. Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen) is an aging painter — once celebrated, now mostly forgotten. His estranged children Barnaby (James Corden) and Sally (Jessica Gunning) have done the math: the unfinished canvases sitting in Julian's studio are worth a great deal more once they're finished. Their plan is to hire Lori Butler (Michaela Coel), a gifted young painter, to complete the works so they can be sold as discovered masterpieces after Julian's death. The problem: Julian is still alive, entirely present, and unaware that his children have effectively contracted out his legacy. Lori takes the job. Things get complicated fast.
