Synopsis
Gorbacheva (2024) is a documentary by Rodion Chepel, available to watch online on iFILM. It sets out to look at Raisa Maximovna afresh — not as the shadow of a general secretary, but as a figure whose name once sat beside Nancy Reagan, Jacqueline Kennedy and Margaret Thatcher.
The film traces her road from a village girl to a woman in whose years the country started talking differently about schooling, medicine and the arts.
