Synopsis

Viktor runs a fashionable restaurant that's quietly sinking. His whole bet rides on New Year's Eve, every table booked — and on December 31 the head chef walks out and takes the entire kitchen with him. Rescue arrives from nowhere: Olesya, who runs a home kitchen in a village outside Moscow, shows up with pastries Viktor once ordered and forgot. He talks her into manning the stove for one night.
She nearly says no — she promised her son Kirill fireworks and a holiday fairy tale. But Olesya has a knack: her cooking stirs up people's fondest memories.
