Ronin (2025) is a Russian action-detective series you can watch online on iFILM. Ivan Doronin, one of the top SOBR special-forces fighters, takes a bullet during a hostage rescue and is forced onto leave. Then comes news that his ex-wife has died — a woman he barely spoke to, paying nothing but child support for years.
He drives to the village of Medvezhye to collect his son Misha, and arrives to find the boy has a half-brother, both living with Doronin's own stepfather. Sorting out custody takes time. To fill it, Ivan steps in as the local mailman — and keeps landing in situations that demand considerably more than a postal round.
