Synopsis
Prison Diary (2025) is a Russian drama series available to watch online on iFILM, directed by Igor Kopylov and starring Maria Lopatina. Rated 18+. Maria Zhukova heads to the United States on a study programme and stumbles onto information that implicates a threat to Russia's security.
She tries to leave before anyone notices. She doesn't make it. Arrested at the border, she ends up in solitary confinement — FBI interrogators cycling through her cell, pushing psychological pressure alongside harder methods, all aimed at one outcome: get her to publicly condemn Russia and stay. Makar Zaporozhsky, Ivan Fedoruk, Yuri Baturin, and Alexander Dyachenko fill out the cast on both sides of the bars.
