Synopsis
"Rogue Trooper" (2026) is an animated sci-fi action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code). It adapts the 2000 AD comic strip that has run since 1977 and shaped a generation of British military SF.
Rogue is the last surviving Genetic Infantryman: blue-skinned, engineered for war, immune to almost everything. His three fallen comrades live on as biochips in his kit — Gunnar in the rifle, Bagman in the pack, Helm in the helmet. Together they hunt the Traitor General across a planet where no side follows any rules. The voice cast includes Aneurin Barnard, Jack Lowden, Hayley Atwell, Sean Bean and Jemaine Clement.
At 123 minutes, it's Jones's most ambitious film to date — and one of the few animated features willing to take military SF seriously without softening it. Stream "Rogue Trooper" (2026) online on iFILM.
