Synopsis

Zhigulenko was a decorated combat pilot of the Great Patriotic War and a Hero of the Soviet Union — she brought genuine wartime authority to the material. The story is set in 1942 Sevastopol under siege. Scout Lozovoy (Andrei Martynov), underground courier Kolesov (Nikolai Grinko), and fifteen-year-old partisan runner Vasilyok are given one mission: pinpoint the coordinates of a heavy German gun shelling the city and relay them before a boat departs Blue Bay. The gun is camouflaged and guarded. Time is short.
